I'm writing a thesis, "The History of Bothwell--At Least the Way I Heard It." Please feel free to read my preliminary research, papers I've submitted in my course work, and tapes I've transcribed from Bothwell residents. Some of the tapes were transcribed from interviews recorded and released by Mabel Anderson for the nation's bicentennial in 1976.My thesis conference is scheduled for December 2003. Shortly after that, a community history will be published based on the thesis. If you are interested, Bothwell's history should be published early in 2004.
